When to use this sign
The most useful information in a vacation notice is when customers can return. This template highlights the closure and dates, with an optional business name and short message.
Put it up before closing and share the PNG through your usual channels. It does not update Google opening hours or any other platform.
How to make your closed for vacation sign
Select the first closed day and the first day you reopen. The reopening date must be later. The application subtracts one calendar day to show the last closed day, including across months and years.
- Add your business name if you want it on the notice.
- Choose the first closed day and reopening date.
- Write an optional message in your own words.
- Read the calculated dates in the preview and download.
Printing and sharing tips
Print on portrait A4 and display it where customers can read it without entering. Make the reopening date easy to spot among other notices.
Check for reflections in a protective sleeve or behind glass. Remove the notice when you return.
The reopening date is the first day you are back, not the last day of the vacation. Check both dates and put the notice up before closing.
